depends what you want, level of finish etc... when it comes to full custom installs the labour is what gets ya, a basic false floor with flushed amps and sub isnt going to be as expensive as something with fibre glass work cos it doesnt take as long, but if you do go for bibre glass then the finish comes into it, if you just carpet it it will be cheaper than painting cos once again, al hell of alot more work is required to get something prepped for painting than for carpet as carpet hides alot of the imperfections, best advice is go to your local car audio specialist (a place with a rep for custom work) get some time with an installer (or some one who knows what theyre doing) layou out your budget and what you want from the system/install and go from there.... ive been doing custom work for the last 3 years nearly and worked in w.a's top audio shop, i;v done custom work ranging from 1000 dollars to 70,000 dollars, so like i said, visit your local specialist and go from there

ps- for a basic custom install, no fibre glass work, and a basic carpet finish (this will probably be a sealed box, flushed amps and false floor) you'd be looking around the $1200-$1600 dollar mark.... the only limit is your dollars and the installers skill

Hey matey,

You could try checking out the car audio place on main north road, can't remember its name but its right next to a import dealership called synergy.
I haven't personally spoken to anyone there but I did send some time looking at either a customer car or one of their own on display and it looked like some serious work went into the audio set up. otherwise I will ask some of my mates if they can recomend anywhere.
