hey guys last week i had vibration from the rear which as everyone knows is prob the shafts so anyways i got the shafts swapped over and put spacers..
all works but one thing happen today..
btw my car is very low on 19s..

um i was driving today and i kinda hit a bump around a long bend and i felt a vibration through the rear end not like they did last week but a more powerful one that i felt through the whole car..

i just wanna know if anyone else has had that problem..

is it maybe cause its so low the driveshaft spacers aint letting it move enough? im not sure but your help will be appreciated..

Most spacers allow for full suspension travel. I know that all the japanese ones are a similar thickness and should be about 8-10mm. Not sure about the US ones. Any thicker than this will apply pressure to the inner hubs when suspension travel brings the driveshaft dead level.

Seeing as your car is quite low your driveshafts are pointing downwards towards your diff. One of two things are possible, the driveshafts are at too great an angle and the bearing is tracking into existing worn section due to the fact the spider tracks further when you increase the angle. Sometimes spacers just don't work, as they were installed way to late.

And you'll still get a slight vibration when going through corners once you swap the inners around. This is due to one driveshaft seeing more positive pressure than the other. And the fact that the bearing is still riding in a wider track (due to worn section on negative side)

Or check your rear tyre pressures. If there different this causes a strain on the lsd thus the vibration, i've had this had to me, and at the time i thought something was f@#cked. Luckily it turned out to be a slow leak in the drivers rear.

the shaft is doing down to the diff as you said..

also the us ones are 10mm thick so same as the jap ones..

if no1 else has the same problem i might jsut take the spacers out and try it without the spacers..

Yeah that may help. Usually spacers don't really work on really low s2k's. The real low ones seem to flog through inner hubs at a fast rate. If you have plans to keep your car for a while and want it decked. The most sensible solution would be to raise the diff higher and remount it. Costly, but cheaper in the long run.
