hey guys,

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, I was reading up on the facelift conversion for the 1998 EK and stumbled across a front bar which is similar to the facelift one except it will fit on the '98 model without any sort of conversions. The make of the bodykit is J-Blood - see attachment

Just wanna know what people's thoughts are about this.

doesnt look too bad, at first glance you'd think its a facelift with a massive lip lol

Anyone know if the lip is removeable so that you can put in a type r or mugen style one?

if that is the disaplay pic, dont expect it to look like that without modifying the kit to fit perfect.
if its a bodykit lip shouldnt be removal.

Yeah I would imagine it wouldn't fit perfectly :P But hey its a cheaper alternative to a full facelift conversion. Just gotta find matching sideskirts..

It may seem cheap but add shipping to that and i'd say it'd be cheaper doing the conversion.

Yeh those look pretty hot.

nisboi40: Would be expensive though to cut the lip off and then patch it up so you can fit like say a mugen lip.

Wonder how much it would be to make whole shell carbon fibre?...i found carbon panels for an ek civic..worked out around 7k for all the parts minus the roof which you would have to have built! thats just panels though not shell.

Or with the same amount of money you could just buy an NSX....

I'm thinking of buying the OEM facelift bumper and customizing it like below, probably would need to do a lot of putty work.
