Best h22a you can get out there, thats if you can find one is the euro R.

By the sounds of it, you havent done any research yourself. My advice is to read someone elses build thread and that should get you going.

What is your budget BTW!

I have budget 3-5ish I don't want the best best because it's probly a rip off just a simple aus h22 r a jdm one

with a budget of 3-5k you definately wont be able to do it, not even a b18c7 with that.
if your set on h22a, it would be alot cheaper buying a halfcut for around 3kish and convert with the h22a cable gearbox, rather than a h2b. but it will require modifying and not a straight swap.
you havent really researched at all, iv looked up the same kind of thing and theres tons of info if you just google.

your attitude wont help you
mr180sx has done it
and his mate has done a h22 euro r motor in a eg
so he knows his shit
3-5 k+ will get you a aussie h22 with motor labour and parts
you will need about 4-5k just for the h22 euro r red top motor
then parts and labour on top
depending what you use and if you do it your self

maybe you need to make a start by doing "some" research and read builds, to set a budget/objective, rather than expecting to get spoon fed all the info...:thumbdwn:

Like i said man. Theres heaps of info out there. Just type it in google.

And then when that isnt enough then post in here.

BTW, if your not mechanically minded then i wouldnt even attempt this conversion.Pay someone, its cheaper in the end.

H2b on a budget is around 7-9k if your good at sourcing parts

Straight h22a cost roughly 5-7k

In regards to the conversion itself, you need to know how to do wiring and putting the engine in. Other than that it is pretty straight forward

if u aint payin for labour then 5k is doable guys.. no doubt bein a mechanic he will know someone who knows someone from an importing or wrecking yard that can get him a H22 and any parts he requires...

in most cases, to get best prices its about who u know, not what you know..

edit: keeping in mind 5k would be without any mods... completely stock engine, stock ecu, stock stock stock

There's so much info around with these swaps. If you bother to search honda-tech and actaully read then your answer are all given there.

if i'm not mistaken, the euro R that the guys are referring to is the JDM Accord Euro-R with the H22A motor. its a very much sought after engine. just like the B16B out of the EK9, its been built up the same way (blue printed, hand ported blah blah etc). its costs more than your budget alone.

i just did a quick google search on 'civic engine swap H22a motor' and there is a wealth of info. if you type in euro-r along with civic then it would narrow down your search.
the people posting in here are trying to be helpful but there is so much new members asking the same thing over and over it starts wearing thin and hence the negativity.

mate, just dont take it too personally and a having bit of background knowledge/thorough research will help you in your way not just on OH but other car forums.

to the rest of you guys, dont be too hard on him.

OMG.JAI xD

Swaps and conversions are different.
Preludes are easy to put a h22a in. I mean thats the motor it came out with.

In an ej/ek/em/dc/eg/eh chassis is different. Its not just a matter of buying mounts and bolting it up.

Youd rather save yourself the hassle and with the 5k budget you have, build a high comp b20vtec motor.

Mate youre not doing yourself a favour by paying attention to those that say "search and research"
Dont worry about all that man. But the reason they do say that is because its been done many many times.
Youre better off going on honda tech or googling h22a conversion.

The top shit attitude is only gonna push your help away.
Goodluck on the conversion bud. (no sarcasm intended).
