External Diameter of a D16y1 (Eg vti) Throttle body

Hi

I need the Diameter of the D16Y1 Throttle Body. I'm making a short ram intake for one (dont have the car with me atm) but would like to know how big it is. So i know whether to buy 2.5, 2.75, or 3 inch silicon piece for it.

its 2.5". Buy 2.5" to 3" silicone coupler. as shown in pic. And use 3" pipe.

yeah the AEM V2 cai i've got for sale is the same as above - intake arm is 3" piping and uses 2.5" to 3" coupler to connect to throttle body

Thanks for replies. yeh 2.5inch will fit over the TB. got a couple different ways to do it but ill be using coupler for sure.
