Hey guys, been lurking here the past couple of weeks whilst rego's have been closed. Glad they are open now, as now I can see the whole forum!

Anyway, my first car when I left school was an 86 honda integra. It copped an absolute hiding, and always came back for more. It passed away about 6 years ago now, and I have had several different cars in the mean time. Am very glad to be back in a honda... hopefully this one stays with us for a long time.

Anyway, here is the new daily for me/the mrs(hence the auto).

04 Model
65xxx km's
18" rims

Plan is to leave it completely stock apart from a few ricey mods lol. Apart from the wheels its going to cop super dark tint and it will be getting lowered 40mm as soon as I get back from work next weeks. At this point it will also get a full paint correction/clay bar/polish/wax from a pro. Hopefully will take out all the tiny little scratches and pits that end up in a 5yo paint job. Then, if I can find a good one at a reasonable price, a rear lip spoiler might be the go.

Down the track a little, might do a few simple handling mods. Rear sway bar, camber kit, and a front strut brace. But at the end of the day, its a smooth, comfy daily car which eats up the highway kays beautifully.

Few quick pics I snapped the other day.

For a 5yo old car, it feels super solid, and drives bloody great. Engine loves to rev, and has plenty enough poke for our needs for the time being.

Cheers

Adam.

So during my last break from work, in and around moving house, was able to get a couple of things done to the Euro.

My mate sorted me out with some nice dark tint. Got the car clayed/cut/polished waxed etc professionally. Looks 2000% better. Last Wednesday, lowered the car 40mm.

Anyway, gave it a wash this arvo, and decided to take a few quick pics infront of the garage....

Hey mate. Cheers for the kind words. They are just Advanti rims, called Flint if my memory serves correct. They are 18x7.5 +42. Plenty of clearance, and definately no scrubbing after lowering 40mm.

I wasn't 100% sure about them when I got them... however, they continue to grow on me, and I really think they suit the look of the car, and kinda tie the chrome trim all together a bit.

thanks for that, how much did they set you back? they look hot, nothing hotter than black on black! They'll flow even more with a nice drop

Hahaha... yeah, a bit lower would be nice! But 40mm drop is plenty enough for us. The car does lots of country highway K's, so any lower would really compromise ride/comfort etc.

I got a super deal on the rims and tyres from a local wheel/mechanical shop. About 15/1600 is what I paid with a wheel alignment.
