Possible to lower EK4 Seats?

Hi just wondering if anyone has lowered EK4 Seats? I find my seats sit too high my head almost touches roof...

Is it possible to lower these seats with different rails? anyone done this before?

the seats have alowering adjustment, but otherwise u will need to get other seats.
I had this problem also. I use to sit further back and recline abit so i don't hit the roof.

Otherwise get some recaros with superlow rails

My problem exactly.

I just bought a Sparco Torino 2 reclinable seat + custom superlow rails that I will buying of a member to solve my problem.So sick of being too high.I'm 6'1".

Will evo 8 recaros fit my ek? if so will the rails bolt straight onto those seats for EK?

The reason I didn't go for Recaro's (They are soooo nice) is because they are targeted fron thiefs.Not good if you have to leave ya car in a carpark.I would just prefer to not have that worry.

im not sure all recaro's have the same stud pattern on the bottom on the seat.... any SR3 or SR4 with ek rails will fit tho

dont want ek9 recaro rails.. TOO high.. same height as my ek4 seats now.. Im looking to get vision super low rails.. just hope they fit..

I was more referring to getting the appropriate rails i.e Lower Rails that suit Recaro (not using the OEM rails)

i getcha, but some recaro's dont bolt up to my superlows for my ek...... i know sr3 and sr4 do..... but some of the fixed seats and some other models of reclinables dont....

all evo recaros will fit... all u need is vision super low rails... your head will be on the odometer...

so your answer for the evo recaros.. that yes it will go into ek and yes you need vision rails.

and for your ek4 seat question NO!.. Unless you take the seat out.. cut the rails legs.. re-weld them with a lower bracket..

Yeah,like get custom rails made up.I wonder if you could still get the seat low enough if you did that??

make sure whatever rails you get are engineered, Id rather be able to see and be near the roof than have even more blindspots on the car lol

I've read del sol seats are a bit lower than the civic version.

Might be a cheap solution.

Let us know if you do go down this route.
