which muffler is good?

hey, im currently driving an civic ek1, just wondering if anyone has any suggestion on what mufflers i should put on the factory exhaust pipe that will give it a low frequency sound, but is not too exagerated looking. any suggestion is appriciated, thanx :)

the purpose of a muffler is designed to increase performance while muffling (trying to silence) the sound as much as possible.
I'd say a good muffler is a quiet muffler which also gives power. Some people may like mufflers for the sound, but to me thats just silly.

i got an E's muffler on me ek1... but i got 2.25 inch cat-back as well...
sounds nice and deep... not too loud....

OK i just installed N1 Spoon...

Dont get it... it will cost too much in petrol and fines.. cause DAMMM the sound is beautiful! I dont even have a performance engine and its auto (waste i know) but it sounds so freaking good.. I'd envy anyone with a loud vtec scream.. Highly reccomended if anyone can ger their hands on one!

Sounds like a good price, vtc. It's a lot more affordable than the Mugen TL, that's for sure..

for silence get yourself a oval mufller,.. they are quiet in idle.. and can really roar at higher revs ^_^ das da pros of my magnaflow oval muff--- mum didnt even know i had a new exhaust system until i got pissed off 1 day and staryed revvinG
