Hi Guys,

I think below information will be interesting for some of you.

Pressing CANCEL+MAP/GUIDE+MENU for 5 seconds will display hidden MENU
While in screen 1, press and hold MENU for another 5 seconds and will bring another hidden menu with interesting stuff.

Please note that it is all your responsibility while navigating through these menus

Have fun

Add: Your updates on additional hidden features in our CU2's is very much appreciated. Wish if we can start this thread for all hidden things our Honda's can offer :)

Can you do the ECU info in CL9?

As far as I know (reading other forums) in CL9 same key combination brings similar menu, but what info is there I dont know. I have tested only on CU2. Maybe some CL9 owners can give their feedback

So when you choose the ECU option what exactly does it tell you about your ECU?

Nothing really, it only tests if the communication between components is OK.
Basically, when you enter ECU menu, it starts auto test, checking Aircon, rear camera, display ...

If you press Error History, it will bring new window with all errors reported to ECU.

Yeah I tried pressing MENU + MAP + CANCEL numerous times on a few different menu screens and it did nothing. I tried every combination of orders you could push them down as well - I felt like an idiot sitting there trying it :p

I don't think it works on CL9 06+

I just got a PDF from honda american, hope it may help you to understand the diagnosis menu. Please refer the attachment.

I think in 1st gen euro, press and hold map+guide+cancel can re-load the navigation software and firmware, Also you can upgrade firmware if the new one is released.
