Hey ppl,
I've been shopping for mags and I came down with two choices and they both cost the same... I'm too indecisive of which one to get so may as well get everyone's opinion hey?

Here's the pics... They were done on photoshop and the wheels are exactly the ones i want. They're both 17"x7.0" .

why is everyone obsessed with p1's ??
he obviously doesnt want them otherwise it would have been one of the options.
i say white wheels all the way !!

TypeG
06-11-2004, 10:05 PM
coz P1 is the cheapest option for japanese rims and for sale in local tyre shop

rokkuchan
06-11-2004, 10:35 PM
Hey I like both and everyone's taste is different so yeah...

Saw the P1, i think they suck... I see them everywhere here on a lot of civics and gay mirages and stuff...

I like the first because...mmm just like it...

I like the second because it still resembles the stock wheels. I like the stock VTi-S but not big enough and Enkei don't provide them bigger. Did anyone know that the VTi-S wheels are light weight Enkei's??? well they are...

I didn't hear from anyone. Saw it with my own eyes...

I took off the wheels and inside it had "ENKEI" embossed on it? is that the right word? So yeah, they're original enkei's mags with Honda center caps. :)

So the VTi-S mags are pretty expensive...

lol u ppl need to get over p1's :P....

now out of your two options that you posted i think the diablo's stand out more, where as the mesh style blends in a bit more and suits the car, eitherway i think they will look good on the car slammed :)

rokkuchan
07-11-2004, 11:38 PM
Hey, i know it's out of topic but with the pics i posted, i've edited to look a few millimetre lower from the picture, the actual car is a bit higher than that. Is it possible to lower it that much like in the pictures?? Cuz it looks sik! ...

I got my springs custom made from IndustrialSprings (adelaide) and they said that if I compress my springs any lower, the guy mention something about the 'strut' will become lose in the front suspension and the spring might become lose or something in the rear suspension and may displace itself over a bump? Is it true??

The springs are heavy duty and rock solid hard...

I'm actually very happy with my front but my rear looks a bit higher than the front and doesn't look good enough i think. I'm a bit scared to get those guys to reheat the springs and compress them...

what do u guys think? especially the DIY guys and tech guys..

Thanks.
Rokku

I like the white one (picture 2).

Hey, u can think about a black wheel, so that make the car in all black, i think it look cool, just like a batman car!! ha ha!

If u put on white wheels, it look like a panda!! ha ha, it is cute, i like it!!~

 Just on the subject of wheels I have a set of 17x7 ROH SHIFT R's on my honda Jazz vti-s. Anyway while they look good and all if I have passengers in the back the tyres do scrub in the back, thanks mainly to honda's poor designing of the back bumper. If you look or feel under the back bumper just where it joins up with the guards there is an inner lip where the the back bumper screws in. Safest option foor wheels on a jazz would be 16x6.5 wheels, this way you can lower it safely and trouble free.Dammit they only just rub too by like a 1 or 2mm's.

Agree with the "get over P1's" comments... they're becoming extremely played out. It's like they're the only "JDM y0" rim half these fools are familiar with.
IMO those BBS replicas look quite "JDM". If not, they certainly look mean and lean! :)

the wheels i want here in Adelaide are like 200% more expensive than in Sydney like BigOTyres? and also TempeTyres... Adelaide not much wheel shops...

But here's what I'm after. >> Look for Lenso VE here (http://www.lensowheel.com/product_pass.htm)

But thanks if you can ask for me. :) I asked shops here in Adelaide, cost about $2300-$2400 even with crappy tyres like nankang or hancook...

yes I had the guards rolled the day I had the wheels fitted, you see the problem is you cant roll a plastic bumper can you.Do you carry passengers in the back often?because they only rub when I have passengers in the back.If your Jazz is the same specs as mine and has the same rear guard set up its pretty much impossible that 18" wheels dont rub.

Not arguing just stating the facts dude, well if you really thought it was worth it you could get the agle grinder on it, or modify it,or just let them rub untill it reaches the screw and shreds or blows a tyre or even rips your back bumper off.
