has anyone done an ap2 cluster in an ap1? and if i got it from the u.s everything would be on the opposite side yes? like.. the sockets etc? and because its in mph is there a way to change that to kmh? and the miles to km?

The US cluster won't work.

"DBzerk" on s2ki has done it with a UK cluster, but its still stuffed and doesn't read KM's.

Put simply. Forget it.

i dunno i just think the new thought they put into the ap2 cluster looks more modern. The ap1 cluster looks so plain and simple.

usdm ap2 cluster revs only to 8k :P get audm
and no nothing would be opposite they dont read numbers backwards lol haha nah on the cluster its not other way around
but the dash surround like audio control and start button is on other side.

u can find pin out for ap1 and ap2 clusters, and rewire em, u can even put s2k's cluster into other cars.. there's ppl have em done before. just need a digital to analog covertor

i've seen a few, i've seen one in a DC2R and one in an AE86.. What about the fuel etc? considering the ape shows them in how do you say.. tiny little rectangles? the ap2 shows it around in a semi circle i guess.. Would you need to change anything regarding the fuel area?

I used to like the AP2 cluster for the different design layout, but these days, I prefer the AP1 "sunrise to 9K" speedo rather than the 1/4 of a circle design the AP2 has.

AP1 looks like one massive rainbow and the AP2 smaller rainbows..LOL!
that updated AP2 cluster (last pic) looks the best IMO. is that what it looks like in australia as well?

You're aware (from memory) its from a US prototype back in about 1999..... It never made it to production... No one in the US has it...
