Hey guys!
I installed an Injen CAI just yesterday and unfortunately in the process i broke the plastic 'spout' (for lack of a better word) that the vacuum hose connects to (between the intake arm and the brake booster.)
As such I've just cable tied a few layers of cloth as a makeshift filter for the resulting hole for the time being.
Just a couple of questions:
1) Am I causing any damage or am I putting myself in danger by not having the brake booster connected to the intake arm?
2) How costly could it be to replace this component?
Thanks,
Bao
