Gen 3 Prelude, rear 6x9" speakers.

Hey guys,

Bought a 3rd generation prelude this weekend, spent today cleaning it/installing some audio equipment that I have.

I installed my headunit and front speakers but I have 6x9's for the rear and I'm a bit stumped as to how im going to install them.

I was thinking about getting some mdf and making some spacers, has anybody done this successfully? (Noob question)

Thats exactly what I did when I had my 3rd Gen a few years ago, worked well, was fairly thick MDF from memory, probably 15mm. Hope that helps

Made some today which were 20mm deep. They fit well. :)

I made an entire custom parcel shelf outta mdf to fit em in.
