I think black car is an issue, my vivid blue seems to have enough cold air-cond even during hot days.
About the bad smell from air-cond, I would suggest you to run for a trip during hot days with air-cond off and fan-on
It could be some dirty moist inside your vent. Except chaning the air filter all the times, I think this driving habit helps, switch off your air-cond few mins b4 u stop your engine. Allow the cold moist air inside the air-cond pipe to gone totally .

Under fortunatly this is not Japan, your only options is from Honda.
Just ask for "Micron Pollen Filter" for Honda Jazz A/C. The filter gets pretty dirty after one year and I doubt u can clean it.
Don't know how much it is but a good guess would be $40-$60.
