Ok the next thing picked up in the inspection was the clutch release bearing, i didnt hear it when i viewed the car but the inspector said its there but just not that loud. So he suggested the noise has just started receantly.
Just wondering who has had this problem with there dc2r and what it will eventually cause?
Thanks

Just thought i would add that ALOT of people diagnose noisy input shaft bearings as clutch release bearings but he should know wat he's taking about.

Input shaft bearing noise is a fairly common thing according to a Honda mech I know, sometimes only shows up under strain then goes away again (in the case of my car) and could last for months or years before dying.

yeh it was found in the inspection i had done on the car. I rang my honda service manager who my parents have known for years now and he said 9/10 times if the clutch release bearing is going the clutch will also be on its way out. And then to get the bearing and clutch done it was goin to cost over 1500.
