yeah get it chipped...get one from ebay for $20...i know it doesnt really do anything for performance...but it does raise the rev limit to 8k..ask FR33K...hehee we both did it to OUR Integra LS's. And just get your local TV repair guy to solder it in if you dont know how to solder.

When i got it done on mine, i dont think i felt any extra power, but it does rev to 8k easily...sounds good too at about 7500 to 8000...

a higher rev limit wont help if you dont make power above the current rev limit (need bigger cams and a few other mods to do this...)

haha yeah i had one
mmm like g3vtir said it doesnt give u power coz the higher u rev the more power u lose..but on gear changes ur revs remain higher due to them being 1K rpm above normal...
it did sound like a beast haha
and mmm my engine hasnt blown yet :) but i have taken it out now
it was just a chip bought off ebay.
i dont know what the powerchips do though.. they "claim" to give u more power

thats bodgy than, no way im putting it on my teg

powerchips r mad, although they cost a fair bit, all i wana do is take the revs up 2 8rpm, although i didnt know it would lag in higher range

um...it's not like getting a playstation chipped...
rasing the rev limiter won't do shit as people have said...
you'll just be free reving and wasting petrol...

Yeah, you better beware of the valvetrain

yeah i know its not ideal to chip it, specially if the valvetrain is stock, but he asked how he could raise the rev limit, and thats one solution. My car was chipped for over a year, i used to take it to 8k almost everyday and i havent had any problems with it at all.

But like i said before, it doesnt do anything for performance but raise the rev limit.
