The plastic headlights on my 2003 Honda Accord Euro are deteriorating rapidly, there seems to be some sort of external etching of the plastic on the upper and lower edges about 30 mm deep and the two Honda dealers I visited seem lost for words, can't explain it and don't know how to fix it.
Has anyone experienced the same thing ?
I heard that there're buffing compounds available bring the plastic to near new condition, anybody knows someone that specialises in this type of work?

Lots of DIYs in the DIY section if you search. I would try Mother's Plastic Polish. Once the headlights is clear again, apply a layer of wax/sealant. Apply wax to the headlights everytime you wash your car.

you can pick up some plastic polish that works wonders
Meguiars Plastix - (this is also great for taillights)
and yea
very fine wet sandpaper is good to BUT remember to buff it back up!
machine buff works best after this way.

i did this with my old dc2 vtir and then spray them with 3 coats of clear coat then polish and wax as above.
Result: shiny like brand new.
