I Couldn't see the question I'm going to be asking in the search bar so here we go. Like the title explains I'm going to get a type r front lip for my v-tir and I was just wondering should i get someone to help me glue this on first and just leave it for the time moment and ask for a quote to spray it the same colour as my Integra (blue) OR should Just leave it seperated and ask for a spray job and then glue it on after its been sprayed?

Also for the members that are from Melbourne would you guys know any good panel beaters in the area

Nah dude don't glue it on.
Just get it painted separately then get it screwed on i guess.
What lip is it btw?

So why you thinking of gluing it on?

Glue is overkill. Screws will hold it in place just as well, and will create less of a potential mess.

Get it sprayed then put it on.. the painter will have to take it off anyway to spray it so whats the point putting it on let alone gluing it on lol

As above, dont glue it lol. If u want u can use double sided sticky tape and then screw it on, thats what i did with mine.I had my front lip sprayed first.

Yes. Screw it on with double sided tape, from within the wheel arches. And Paint it first, im sure it will cause you less hassles if you do that.

One more question i found a JDM front lip thats ABS plastic. And also found a normal type r front lip thats POLYURETHANE. The POLYURETHANE is a little more expensive. which one do you guys recommend and I see no difference in shape from either one but the material I'm curious about is there a big difference between them?

i just did my mugen, probably the best way will be screws on both ends, and silicon/ sikaflex right in the middle, so they'll act like a absorber (if u get what i mean) when u hit it

Polyurethane is like close to unbreakable , if your lip happens to ever fall off and you drive over it, it will maintain its shape and won't break - I have seen this happen first hand. You can probably burn the lip to destroy it though.

Anyway, substitute ABS plastic into that same kind of situation and you'll have 1 million pieces of front lip scattered on the road.
Hence why the price difference between the two materials. One is more durable than the other. From my experience, ABS plastic will be fine as long as your car isn't full on slammed and scraping everywhere.
