hey guys
i got a problem with my alpine amp. im not that competent with all these audio stuff but ill try my best
my speakers, subs and amp were all working fine until i had to unplug the sub to get more boot room
i then wired the sub back and it didnt want to work.
i fiddled around with it and then the speakers went haywire
now at the back of the amp where you plug in all the wires, if i were to move around the wires, ill get static and all these fuzzy noises coming from the speakers

i bought it back to the place where they had installed it for me and they couldnt find out the problem and all they said was that the wires that were used were cheap, when the fact is that they installed it for me..

im guessing theres a problem with my amp.
i was wondering if anyone could help me or direct me to a shop where they can fix this problem

if youre getting static from fiddling with the wires, theres probably a break in the wire somewhere. i'd check them first.

yes you should recheck all the wires making sure everything is plugged in and to the correct terminals (positive=red, negative black/blue) and not loose!

ive also had a similar problem with the buzzing sound which was caused by my Amp Power Wires and my RCA wires being wrapped around each other. try to keep those wires apart. If that doesn't work theres these amp buzzing removing things you can purchase from jaycar for 30 bucks, they can instruct you how to put it on ect, just let them know about your problem.

otherwise use the warranty on your amp i guess

they the one that installed it so they need to fix it, I really don't understand why you need to take it somewhere else ? then they can get just get away with the problem, maybe they will do the same thing again and again to another ppl ................

my guess is that when you disconnected the wires the power cable circuited with the chassis and blew your amp wiring fuse..there should be an fuse in the power cable, check that

If the fuse blew up how the amp still working? Its still working but static noise in the sound, so I dnt think its a power issue, its some thing in the channel point to the speakers/ sub u might need to rewire it or unscrew wires and screw it back again.. see how u go..
