CAR: DC5 type S 2004 model..
my rear speakers crackle when turned up bit loud, is it because of wiring set up...and its standard speakers all round and stock head unit.
i have an 'cadence' brand amp, should i fit it in and fix the problem? what else should i do?

speakers probs ****ed or volume is going above their capabilities..check wiring on back of the speaker to see if its loose..

same thing happend to mine on my old car. The speakers are gone. you listened to them loud often right?
anyway you should replace with aftermarket ones that can handle more abuse.

even the most basic of aftermarket speakers can withstand a lot more abuse than stock speakers..best bet is to test the speakers off a source other than your head unit..run off a home cd player or something alike..if they still crackle its the speakers so replace them..if it still crackles is a dodgy wiring issue..either at the speaker end or head unit end..

Check if the cone is ripped? bcoz i remember when we got my dad's EG the speaker sounds so bad when ur turn it up and when we open it the cone was ripped.. replace it with after market its all good, but if ur planning to run it from ur cadence amp.. i recommend you to get after market speakers that can handle more power to pimp ur ride.
But if your saving up and wanna stick to stock speakers like reedyek try it to connect to different source like your sound system in the house or off your car amp but low volume and slowly turn it up and observe.. thats the least thing you can do..

most likely either the speakers are at their limit, or the HU is clipping. the only way to fix is go aftermarket. speakers or HU
