apexi vafc on obd0 vtec

Just wondering whether the apexi vafc (any series) are compatible with the obd0 vtec ecu's?

i wonder because there is a primary and secondary o2 sensors, and i wasn't sure whether the vafc's have 2 inputs.

nothing to do with O2 sensors

it just piggybacks your MAP sensor & VTEC,add a throttle signal,rpm & power....all done....

i thought it was an air/fuel controller though? how does it know what the air/fuel ratio is without the o2 sensors?

more correctly,its an "Air Flow Converter".

it just tricks the ecu out of seeing the real manifold pressure(air flow) with false MAP signals,so the ecu reads from different columns on the fuel map,ie more or less fuel for the altered air flow signal,so obviously,in turn,the AFRs are altered.

true "piggyback" trickery.........
