sorry prob dumb question, tryin to asjust my tein flex but as manual came in jap which i cant read jap, or find any info..

Im tryin to lower the rears and i dont know which way to do it, i have read that for tein rears u just uncrack the 2 nuts locked under the spring, lower them and lock them back up.

But when i went to do it, it has a third ring at the bottom locked into the bottom of the coil.

Now im not sure if i just lower the 2 under the spring or raise the one at the bottom and screw the coil into the base part.
Any help much appreciated as car is sitting out front on a jack till i can work it out....

Raise the bottom mount.

If you do it the other way you start shortening the stroke on the damper and messing with spring preload.
Always adjust the bottom mount for height unless you have reached the limit.

If they were the type that don't have the ability to do that (e.g Super Streets) then yes.

And just to reassure you, I have Tein Flex ;)

those 2 rings that the spring sits on, tighten them so that the spring is just held captive but u can still spin it around with abit of force. then unbolt the bottom of ur coilover from the lower control arm or watever, losen that lower 3rd lock ring and spin the whole bottom part to raise/lower it, tighten the lock ring again and ur done.
