Hi! anyone know does it 100% straight bolt on to AUDM DC5R if convered to JDM DC5R Brembo front brakes? any mods? if so, what part(s) would be required for the conversion? Will be appreciated if anyone know anything about the conversion.

If you manage to find the whole JDM DC5R brembo swap from a half cut you will need the following.

Brembo Brake calipers
JDM Cotnrol arms
JDM knuckl and hub
JDM front sway bar
JDM proportional Valve( not 1000% needed but may help )
JDM DC5R Rotors + brake pads ( as they are different to AUDM )

Brake lines are the same.

Hope that helps.

You'll also need to get higher offset rims, as the JDM DC5R runs +60 offset, and the AUDM runs +45

Not really, it's dependant on what they have now.

It may only mean the front will be slightly more aggressive than the rear.

Nothing a ltitle camber and adjustment in the height won't fix.

Only thing he will change the wheels for is to clear the brembos if current ones won't.

atleast you need 17" rims

incorrect, depend on spokes design as well.

however +30, +35,+38 offset rims will fit without issue

You can actually run S2K discs and not have to do all other mods!

16 inch rims can fit but spacers may be required for caliper clearance (prolly 20-25mm needed).

As kungfu said, its not the offset but the actual spoke design which will determine clearance. The offset is of low relevance!

p.s. Have a look at TE37's etc and you'll see what I mean as to spoke design :)

Having said this, prolly easier getting Spoon calipers as the fit straight up.....and you'll keep the JDMness :)

i think 16" wheel wont be big enough for the 4 pots calipers...

i currently have a set of 17" CE28N time attack fitted, but not sure they fit the brembo calipers.....so what i need is just get a pair of s2k rotors instead of JDM DC5R brake rotors and should be no problems to fit brembo calipers on to the car, isnit?

My friend have a set up for grab too....and I have a spare right hand side rear lying around......thats jdm offset too.....and the caliper is red from stock......pm me if you are interested......
I did mine too and all the others pretty much sum it up......what I can tell you is the brake force is no different if you do daily driving.....you can't feel shit unless you hit track....
The advantage to do the full JDM front setup swap is you can achieve more camber without too much issue.....hency the lca is longer that can help to create more camber.....

You are both right, 45SET has the offsets correct, JDM vs AUDM stock wheels (there is no way the AUDM wheels will clear the brembos.
kongfu is also right in saying its all down to spoke design.. some +35 offset wheels will work in clearing the brembos, other +35s wont.
