Just got the Comprehensive Insurance policy for the 06 VTI Jazz. $699 from NRMA with 65% no claim bonus ( $1123 discount ), multi policy discount ( $247 ), insured value (market) $15,760.
Does anyone get a better price than $699 ? I looked at some "budget" insurers online quotes, and they were closer to $1000:eek: Cheers.

Depends how old you are. Mine rapes me. Under 25 so it costs $2.5k with $1.4k excess with JustCars. All mods except for sound covered though. I'm sure if I was older it'd be cheaper.

I use AAMI. The last renewal on my 07 VTI-S was $242. The agreed value is $18,600. I have the maximum no claim bonus and have held a drivers license for a couple of decades!!! AAMI lets you reduce the premium by increasing the excess if you make a claim. I opt for the highest excess which gives such a low premium. If I make an at fault claim the excess will be $2100. There are also excess's for inexperienced and young drivers.

At the end of the day you need to be the one doing the quotes..

Premiums are dependant on age, gender, location, how it garaged, and sometimes the amount of kms it travels.. Some insurance companies may be cheaper then others at one point in your life and be a reverse at another because they are target at a specific audience.. e.g. APIA is for the mature driver, Just car is for the younger driver, AAMI is for the targeted at 20somethings to mid 30's.

What may be cheaper for me might be more expensive for you!

Only way you'll know which one is cheapest for you is by calling an insurance company.

Nothing wrong with asking other Jazz owners though Sassy Fit. I now know that aami will do it for a lot less than NRMA, although with a higher excess. Well worth considering.

About $650 annually with RACQ, $400 excess, rating 1 for life. Insured for market value.
