hey guys, is any one know that, how many type of bodykit for FD2?

I think the modulo body kit is only available to the FD2R not the the FD1/2s.. i asked the dealer about them a few months back

fibre glass is lighter. disadvantages in bodykits to me seem quite trivial, as long as it fits i dont see what difference, its not like we care THAT much for our aerodynamics of our super car civics that chop evos. no joke...ive smashed a evo.

normally kits made out of fibreglass will tend to crack if you knock it too hard, when going up a ramp too quick. you'll need to fork out more money to fix it. if you get kits made out of ABS/PP material, they're more flexible and less prone to cracking. correct me if i'm wrong...

just grab PP or ABS.. dont risk on something which is cheap.. hehe.. end up u pay more.. =)

u may not even wanna go PP. apparently they have a lower melting point than other plastics like PU or ABS. if subjected to high amounts of heat, they could warp a bit.
but u may never reach such high temperatures.

if here have two set of kits for sell, they are exactly the same. they are mugen style and come with front, rear bumper and side skrit. the fitting is very good as well!!
1. fibreglass: $800 AU
2. ABS : $1200 AU
Which one will you prefer!!

thats the modulo i was talking about.. easiest to get and most likely for australia the only one available, as the full bar replacements are only concepts and there's this really ugly looking modulo bar but thats off the fd2r so it wont fit.

yeah, its the factory bodykit that's available at pretty much any honda dealer, but as usual, its porbably gonna cost a pretty penny.

.k. bought his from "some random house" up here in brisbane. he said the person's house full was of the kits in boxes. he got his already sprayed in nhbp and all he had to do is fit it on.

Turns out the kit is made by a company that specializes in producing carbon fiber parts. This was a widebody kit designed in house and is offered in both Carbon Fiber and FRP.
