Civic EG 4dr Sedan central locking

:My dad's civic EG 4dr sedan's central locking stop working. Anybody know why? I havent open the door yet but i just want to know any possible cause of this problem besides the connection is loose?\

If any one can help me that will be great.

check the fuse,
if you havent done anything to the speakers or any electricals prior to it when it stopped working, might the fuse might of just blown from age.
and even if u did do any of those things, check the fuse anyway ! its in the fuse box under the steering wheel towards the right hand side.
tip : might aswell check them all at the same time
if its not that the metal peice may have come loose, the peice i refer to is what connects the actual lock to other peices. and may have fallen out of its little bracket thing etc.

which one is the actuator dude? is that the a box kinda thing?
