Then i stop @ a petrol station & it was leaking abit of water, mate said its the water pump but the temperature seems to be fine... Does any1 know if its the water pump & if so, how much to fix it....???

maybe the metal part has corroded where the hose is connected, try taking off the hose and see if there is any corrosion, i had a similar problem before

The clamp/s on the hoses leading to the radiator maybe slighly loose and hence there is a gradual leakage...

yeah the hose where the coolant runs through and goes through to the engine

Where is it leaking from? if its from near the timing belt area.......then it is your water pump.

Just remember when you refill, to add a coolant+water and not just water.

When was your water pump done last? Make sure you keep an eye on the temp guauge cause you could cook your engine if you loose all your coolant.

Now where getting somewhere...

Its leaking near the timing belt, but the temperature seems to be ok...

Dont think i ever changed my water pump @ all, did the timing belt but totally forgot about the waterpump... :o

Hmmm so you think its the water pump...?

How much to repair or get a new water pump plus installing...?

yeah sounds like a water pump problem to me. most of the time a leaking honda water pump will not be noisy or cause the engine to over heat, they will just sipmply leak. you can get non genuine ones for arount 50 to 70 bucks or genuine one for 130 - 170 you need to do you shopping. If the budget permitts get a genuine one as they are really good. labour is different. all depends where you take it as to how much they will charge. it will be the same ballpark labour cost for a timming belt replacement plus half an hour on top.

As ECU-MAN said above!

Keep a VERY close eye on your temp needle and also your coolant level.

If the water pump/seals are going, it is just a matter of time. I'd get it changed ASAP because it doesn't take much to cook your engine by waiting for the temp needle to go to 3/4 +

Hmmm how do i know which 1 is genuine dude...?

Would you recommend me getting the part & getting some mechanic to do the labour or just get him to supply it & fit it....???
