View Full Version : How to get my car to start?

i recently lost the button for the cars alarm but i've still got the key. so when i try to start the car the alarm goes off. i think it might be my immbobiliser or something abt the killswitch help?
is there anyway of getting another switch?

Immobilisers are a matched pair. Unless you bought an el cheapo alarm system.
Youd have to get a new immobiliser and new remote.
Or. You can try find the wires for your alarm system.
and disconnect it.
After all, aftermarket alarms systems only splice into the vehicles electricals.

are there any other methods? this sounds hard

Mate do you have the key to your alarm? As in the key that turns off the alarm via the engine bay?
Would help if you state what sort of alarm system you have

thats the only way.
you have to unplug the alarm and then bypass the imobilizer wires from the alarm to allow the car to start

yeah unless you know the exact model, u can't do much about it other than bypass the whole alarm.
