hello i have an ek 96 civic sedan
my noob problem is when driving around 40 to 100k/m and approaching to stop my car sometimes tugs to the left and right when about to stop. The problem doesn't occur when brake is applied right away it happens when the car is about to stop or slowing down. Lets say going 100k/m then slowing down to 80k/m then steering wheel wobbles  also while driving on a highway and there is a rough road the wobble occurs..

I've also checked the wheel nuts and they are all ok!

what do you think the problem is?

is it the cv joints? lol my noobness prediction might be wrong

thanks for the help

Have your CV boots split?
Does it look like anything is unusual with your suspension alignment?
What's the condition of your brake pads and discs?

Mmm doesn't look great but I would imagine it would cause problems more often than just on deceleration if it was the cv.

hmmm do you think its something major?
cause everything else it drives normal and wobbling occurs sometimes. its just annoying with the wobbling that's all lol!

another question where can I find the distributor cap on a ek civic?

Sorry I know just as much as you.
The distributor cap would be on the passenger end of the valve cover, but I'm not completely sure.

Check for a welt (uneven lump) in the tyre along the inside of each front wheel, this sounds like what I had, we checked everyting then noticed a large lump on one of the tyres which is usually caused by hitting a pothole

my money is on warped rotors, worn outer/inner tie road ball joints, worn bushings somewhere or a stuffed steering rack
