parking brake warning light

own a 89 ed civic only when i turn sharply the handbrake warning lamp comes on then goes off again shortly after straightening up. any ideas what could cause this? could it have anything to do with my wheel offset/clearence?

maybe your brake fluid level is low, might have to top up... try that first...

It means your brake fluid is low in the brake resevoir.
When g forces are applied the brake fluid pitches to the side setting off the sensor.
Top up your brake fluid

thanks guys, i checked and whoever fiddled with it last had not screwed the cap down properly. perhaps causing the sensor to sit up to high payed $20 dollars for brake fluid and never needed to use it.. thanks for advice but +1 rep
