civic ignition barrel price?

hey all,

bought a eg civic thats been stolen and recovered from the auctions. The ignition barrel has been snaped off. so no more steering lock....

Anyone know how much a new one would be or second hand from a wreckers would be?

I call but they never understand me and i cant drive the car.

$40 last time i bough one, prices have gone up a bit though, that was for the whole steering column including the barrel because they can't be taken off without breaking them off

where abouts was that from... did u say the whole steering column? from the rack to the steering wheel?

yeah rack to steering wheel from a wrecker, but like i said prices have gone up recently

Cheers!!!!did you ever try looking up in the phone book of all the auto wreckwers in your local area? Did you even try ringing them to ask how much the so called item is?

Thats the best answer you're gonna get, because they are the guys that are selling them.
