Hey,

Are there any suspension specialists in Sydney that you can recommend?
possible one that manufactures bushings / linkages for swaybars..

I have quite a serious problem with my swaybar / LCA's and i've taken it to two mechanics who both do not have a solution...

The problem stems from me being unable to track down a discontinued part.??

any help is appreciated.

Whiteline.

What part do you need? Post a pic, guys here might be able to help with DIY as well. You can buy a wide range of bushes from Autobarn etc..

Thanks... I don't have a pic - basically the part that Whiteline has recommended to fit is

Swaybar Eye Link Kit - Offset Type
Model Number is: KLD75OS
http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_detail.php?part_number=KLD75OS

the 75mm being the length of the link, however after fitting, i've found this is to be around 10mm too long, hence why its knocking.. i'd require something around 65mm, but there are no part for this in the whiteline catalog

The car is an 97 EK1 Hatch with a B16A engine conversion from a 99 EM1...
Has 4-1 5-Zigen Headers

its a 27mm whiteline swaybar kit... no idea how old... and aftermarket lca's - not sure what they are, but theres definately no mounting point for the standard swaybar (is it safe for me to drill a hole here?)

anyway, i'll try to take it in to the whiteline centre in horsnby or blacktown and see how i go from there..

probably not safe to drill a hole dude

afaik pretty much all ek lca's had some sort of swaybar hole
look for function7 endlinks or i think blox had some adjustable ones too
can be found in the traders section under jdmyard(function7) or modproject(blox)

You refer to the FRONT swaybar.....simply get any EK4 / EM1 FRONT lower control arms....presto you have mounting for the endlinks :)
