quick question

Hi,

from what ive read, can someone please confirm these? atm I have a 95 EG5 and i wanna get some stiffer suspension, mines pretty old and a bit soft.

1. I can get DC2 vtir front and rear shocks+springs fitted into my eg5 with no problem?

2. I can get DC2 R front and rear shocks+springs fitted as long as I have EG6 LCAs?

Id get coilovers but my budget is isnt more then 500 lol. just want better suspension.

secondly, when I bought it, the seller had black tape over the "weatherstrips" I have no idea why and would it be better if I bought whole new strips from Honda?

1. yes, dc2=eg, fit 100%
2. dc2r=eg6, fit 100% on eg3 4 5 if u got eg6/dc2r rear LCAs

the weather strips are probably in shit condition hence the black tape to make it look alright,

there pretty pricey ! but yes if u can afford, get new ones from honda

as for your $500 budget,

go dc2r springs + shocks
its really the springs that make the difference as opposed to the shocks, but they usually come bundled.

id suggest go dc2r springs (quite cheap, $200 at absolute most) and if u can get the shocks, youll need the LCA's ($150? ish can get aftermarket too) but as stated its the springs that do the work and dc2r shocks and eg shocks are more or less the same . significantly cheaper than $500 ! plenty of change left over for some better parts!
