Hi all,

I want to know what numbers you guys are getting with stock type r with Comptech icebox, k&n filter, and full hytech exhaust....

before it was tuned with hondata s100 it was getting 105kw and after tuning I got 114.2 kw...

I was kinda disppointed because I was expecting it to go up to around 120 kw...

Calling people with the same type of mods... what numbers did you get?? Is mine way under??

You cannot compare numbers unless on the same dyno.

Andeven then if the dyno's are the same it cannot be 100% comparable, weather conditions, temperature and humidity would also affect the outcome of the readings.

Also things like what types of servicing fluids, wheels etc also come into factor.

Question is does teh car feel much better than before.

Have you taken it to the 1/4 track to compare before and after?

I would'nt rely on numbers alone for results or comparisons.

thats a good point there man.
the topic pops on most threads where, what do you get with these mods.

all dynos are different
and it depends entirely on the tuner.

when i got mine tuned with neptune, skunk2 exhaust, mugen headers, and fujita cai i got 126kw.

to me, its just a number... doesnt entirely mean that much

114.2 kw is not bad for i/h/e + tune

yeah I agree with Tai... how can say how much you got and show it on a piece of paper but in the end... a 1/4 track will definitely show how much the car has got.

I did intake, exhaust and header and i got 167kwatw with stock b18cr

BS dyno's don't count.

that b18cr must be some godly engine or something.......

cools.. thanks for the input guys... i guess it doesn't mean much on paper but its a good indication "in theory" of how much improvement. I mean... even though bludger was joking about the 164kw with the same mods... if you dynoed 2 cars ... one had 114kw and another had 164kw then I'd put good money on the 2nd one being faster.

but its good to get peoples opinion about it.
