Well Sauber has defected to Michelin tyres!
Now only Ferrari, Jordan and Minardi are with Bridgestone!
Does this remind you of the WRC at all?

Subaru is the only manufacture on pirelli tyres while the rest are on Michelin.
Also, Kumho want in on F1 in the tyre war, according to Minardi and Jordan etc they (kumho) are going to be offering much cheaper tyres to the back teams to get some race experiences.

Ofcourse Bernie has to let this pass!

Makes you think, Sauber signed that agreement that Ferrari didn't and no joining Michelin? Questions might be asked.

That or Sauber will tell Ferrari everything about the Michelin's!

So like do tyre companies have to be commissioned to be a sponsor in F1?
What are the procedures like to be in F1 for a tyre company?

Any idea Jase? :)

That would be very interesting... to say the least.

Bridgestone have been only supporting one team in F1 for years, Ferrari, and everyone else who used them has just had to make do with tyres designed specifically for the Ferraris....

THATS why Bridgestone now only run with three teams, and only one competitive one.

yeh you could look at is as sauber going in as moles finding out what they can about the michelins and letting ferrari know about them....
