I've already used a polish on it 3-4 times :) Selling it that's why I want to fix it up.

It's a pretty light mark too not a deep scratch you'd catch your nail in.

if you can catch your nail in it, its probably too deep, your going to need to get it resprayed.

but to minimise it, i used some swirl/scratch remover and it will probably get most of the light grey shit, but the rash is still going to be there.

try meguairs scratch x

I've heard thats a fairly popular option :)

EDIT: Also if I get the Meguiars Scratch X 'cream' does the Meguiars pad come with it?

Scratch X x 2,3,4,5,6,7 etc......If this doesn't get it off you may need to see a panel beater :)

Pads cost about 3-4 bucks. You can use a microfibre cloth (clean) if you have one!

If the scuff is only clear coat just try and buff it back so the scuff is not as visible, dont do it to the colour coat though otherwise youll have to respray clear coat

I use the applicator pads for applicating
and terry towels for removing.

If scratchx doesn't work and it's only the clearcoat then contact a good detailer, they'll be able to wetsand + buff it out.

or DIY
not that hard really to give a very light sand until the scuff appears to be gone then go up grits make it really smooth, give a wipe with some wax and grease remover to get the excess dust and crap away and then respray a light layer ofclear coat, give that a very fine sand down and then put a thicker layer of clear coat on and good as new.

Dad ended up grabbing me "POLYGLAZE CUT N POLISH" and it pretty much cleared it up :)
Had someone look at it the same day and didn't notice it either, I'll post a pic tomorrow!

your dad beat me too it... Scratchx is a very very fine abrasive... it really, in my opinion, is almost a useless product even for swirls....
