hi i found a subwoofer on the internet for a JL Audio 15W4 for $100

How can you tell if the subs bolw off or not?
How to test a subwoofer when buying a sceond one?
What should I look for?
What do you think??

jl audio is a good sub, although checking for a sub if its blown or not i wouldnt have a clue great quality subs though !

$100 sounds VERY dodgy. Who knows though, might just be a bargain.

plug it in in your car amp and see how it goes..

hook it up and listen... you probably need a suitable enclosure to find out if its good or not

the first thing you can do is put your hand on the cone and gently push down, but make sure you push down even. if its good, it should push down quietly. if its blown, you will have to apply abit of force, and you'll hear a scraping sound as you push.

then hook it up to your amp.
