What size tyres? [Archive]

I'm thinking of getting 16 inch rims for my integra dc2 and I was wondering what tyre size would fit them? I'm asking this because I might get the tyres before the rims.

EDIT: Also the rims I'm getting are the Buddy Club - P1 Racing SF Wheel and there 16x7.0 offset: 42 4x100

205/45-16 is the most suitable size for general street use.

would the tyre's height of 55 fit into the integra?

A tyre like that is much too large diameter. It will be bad for (in no particular order):

Suspension travel
Gearing and hence acceleration
Speedometer accuracy
Handling response
Aesthetics

i've currently got 215/40/16....sits very nicely

i had 205/40/16
then i changed it to 205/45/16
the rides much better and i reccomend staying with the normal rolling diamiter!

What is the standard size that is printed on the tyre placard? Usually stuck to the frame of the car where the driver's door is.
