Hey Guys,

I recently purchased an 06' Euro Luxury, can I get Metal Access Door Sill Plates to suit? I have spoken to Honda in Queensland and they say no!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The guy told me that the 2009 come with them and thats it. As an option of course.
I found a set on the Heeltoeauto website. $240 from America. It sounded to good to be true...

They are difficult to find, now that they are discontinued. I bought mine from Burg Design, which are an aftermarket accessory shop out at Moorabbin, Vic. Cost me $55 for the set in the middle of 2007. They don't have it listed on their website anymore, but it would be worth sending them an email to ask if they have any left in the shop.

Thanks Mate,

I sent the email just then. I hope to get a response.... On a seperate issue, When I bought the car it came with non factory Euro wheels. They are 17" but I would prefer to get the originals. If any body knows where I can pick up a set that would be sweet..

Cheers

Look in the market place. The 06 Lux wheels do come up for sale once in a while. Reasonable price as well, from 400-600.

I got those ones from burg design late last year too - however I had fitment issues with the pieces for the rear doors. it doesn't fit flush with the curve of the door's lower sill - I'm pretty sure it's the same for everyone with this particular set. Noone notices though! got mine for 59 I think

I think they updated it. I bought a set and the rears fit fine.

Just adjust the curvature slightly with your hands. I did that with mine and it sits properly. Also, there will always be the bit of black plastic that is visible closest to the door frame, but you can't do much about that anyway.

I tried bending one, it wouldn't give and then finally when I gave it enough force it bent focally at one point and put a big kink in it LOL. it still fit on but naturally I was too scared to try bending the other one. probably should have heated it up first

Does it matter if I have the Tan interior. Because I have seen some that come with the complete sill. Or are yours just the Metal insert? If so how much?

That is not how you bend sheet metal. You have to put a curved backing object against the metal and then press slowly to shape it.

All Honda Accord Euro metal sills for CL9 go over the existing plastic kick plate.

Thats what I thought too. Then I saw this website...Is this the correct door sill of the CL9??

That still goes over the existing black plastic. They added the tan or black options so that it looks better to match with the interior.
