Hi,

First time on this site my daughter has just brought a 2000 Prelude VTI-R model and I have notice that the power steer pump is weeping some oil can you buy a kit for it and if so where also what is a good quality oil to use in the motor.

I quest you will be hearing a lot from me as I have not worked on late model cars
and is there a good mechanic in Brisbane Southside for the things that are too hard for me to workout.

Regards Grant

Non members can't read the site.

What I do know about the power steering fluid is don't put other brand fluids in there. Honda has its own proprietary power steering fluid. Others will stuff up the pump seals. Unlike other 'use Honda products only' labels (eg. engine oil). The one regarding the power steering is actually true.
