Hi guys
I have recently ordered a black 2009 euro luxury.
I have 3 quick questions;
1. With the large digital display someone mentioned that it has capabilities to show CD title and track (if the CD has CD-Text enabled). Does it also display FM radio stations name (ie like 2Day FM?).
2. I have also heard that a voice advisesyou when the handbrake is left on while driving (or is this only in the NAVI model)?
3. As i only drove the standard Euro when Itook one for a test drive does the digital display display any additional info not found in the std euro?
Thanks

Hi dude, I got a similar black Euro luxury as well. I can try answering your questions:
1. Yes to both, albeit the fact that the song title and radio station name often does not appear in full cos of limited space on the screen for it.
2. Maybe you will get an inner voice shouting at you for leaving the handbrake on while driving, but I certainly didn't hear anyone advising me when I left my park brake on while driving off. NOt sure about the Navi.
3. Nope. I have seen both std and lux models both show the same.
Congratulations on your buy and welcome to the club! It's a really good and flash car I can tell you, although if you are unlucky you may get a Euro with a pinging engine... Mine is an 08 built (09 compliant) Euro Lux, dont seem to have the pinging issue... Ive done 6000kms so far.

To answer question 2.
I did it a few weeks ago, there was no voice warning. An amber warning come up on the dash screen after I had driven a short distance and I think there may have been a beep or two but I can't remember and don't really want to test it.

To answer question 2 - 'And what's not to like about a talking car? Satellite navigation instructions are one thing, but if you engage the hand brake when you're still rolling, as I somehow discovered, a female voice pleasantly asks you to "please turn off the handbrake". Good advice.'
Navi model only

Oh wow maybe I should have gotten the Navi model after all, maybe the inner female soul of the Navi Euro may also speak to me about other stuff like: Dont rev me too hard pleeeease, or The music is too loud turn it down mate... HAhahahaha cool stuff anyway

Only problem with the Navi is that it is another female trying to tell you what to do!!

Has anyone with Euro 2009 discover any neat trick that is not mentioned in the manual such as auto windows down by pressing the remote key - I tried other threads but it seems most talk about Euro m2008 or older.
