Loose Dipstick

Is the dipstick tube meant to be loose. I took the oil dipstick out to check oil levels and saw that the actual tube leading to the block is loose as it moved from side to side.
Is this Normal?

Doesnt happen to my honda but if your not loosing any oil then I dont see how it would be a problem
