Hi Guys,

Anyone had problems with the VSA after changing to 18ich wheels ? the manual says by changing the wheel lager then the stock rims could cause problems with the VSA system..

Keep the rolling diameter the same and VSA will be fine.

well the rolling diameter will change when you increase the wheel size..

Not when you match the right sidewall profile against the larger rims....

rolling diameter cannot change legally + or - 14 mm..
so the bigger wheel you go the lower profile the tyre, otherwise it will throw the speedo out.
BTW i had 18x8 and 235 40 18 on my cl9 and the vsa was fine.
I have 19x8 and 245 35 19 on my cu2 and thats fine also.

No it doesn't if you reduce the tyre sidewall height like EuroAccord13 said. If you have 225/45 R17 now as stock, go for 225/40 R18 and your VSA will work fine.

As euroaccord13 and aaron has said, it's been covered before too.
