Hey team!
Does anyone recommend using those 500mL injector cleaner bottles after a service, or just at all?

Is it all a gimmick like those octane boost bottles? or do they legitimately clean your injectors...

Over to you team!

It won't hurt, and it might help, but not if the injectors are more than just a little dirty.

It doesn't hurt to use it if you just want that extra insurance in the back of your mind that you're keeping the car clean as you can.

I pretty much use alot of things like that on my car, even it might not be effective as you'd like it to be but you know you're keeping your ride top notch. :) doesn't hurt paying 50$ on something you spent thousands on.

quality varies between brands, I find STP fuel injector cleaner works very well for me.

Hey great input everyone...
i was a bit sceptical of the whole thing, i had seen review of the 'octane booster' - described as worthless as it adds toluene which is harder to burn at low temperatures which can essentially lead to poor operation and/or engine damage...

kind of a lil off topic but i figured 'injector cleaner' would be similar.

thx namski - site was useful, i discovered that most people agree that using high octane fuel is just as efficient as these cleaners.

mmm so yeh, guess it wont hurt to use it just for a lil more insurance.
PROBLEM SOLVED
CLOSE THREAD! aha xD
