ok this may sound like a newbie question.
i bought a second hand 97 integra gsi 1.5 years back, now with almost 290kms on the clock. and im not sure when was the gear oil was last changed.

so just wonder what should be the gear oil change interval?

on top of that.. i just bought some REDLINE Lightweight Shockproof gear oil 75W90, and it was really expensive!!!

so. i wonder if there is anyway i can flush the gear box oil before the oil change?

I've used the redline oil before, and it is pretty good. very smooth.
And it kept running smooth for about 15k kms before it started feeling notchy in the gb. and for that, its too expensive.

I now just use OEM MTF06, its ard $12 a litre... way cheaper, almost as good.
I change the gb oil once every 2 engine oil changes.

my civic service manual says 20k km or 2 years.
integra owner to confirm.
