Hi all,

I recently bought a 2007 Accord VTI-L with around 33000Km on a private sale.
Being the first time I have a honda, or a car with this sort of engine size (i.e. 2.4L), I was wondering if any one would share their experience in the fuel consumption for this model of car.

I'm in Sydney metro area so I'm hoping someone could indicate how much Km can you get on a full tank hopefully from someone in Sydney city area too. (and whether they are using regular unleaded or E10 fuel or others.)

I know this could vary depending on driving condition and driving style but average figures is good enough.

Also if anyone could recommend what type of things to do to maintain tiptop fuel efficiency. eg. replacing spark plugs every X months and others

Thanks in advance.!
Marcel

I have 2008 accord Gen 8 and mine does around 10.5 in sydney traffic.
Yours should be very similar around 11L/100km

I have an 09 VTI-L 2.4.
City/Suburbs will get 600-700ks per tank
Country will get 800-900ks.

well i have a 06 model and it runs well in the suburbs
in the Suburbs i will get about 700-800MAX kms per tank
btw you can adjust the multi-info display to tell you how many kms to go before the need to refill
also i use premium unleaded
btw top save or become ''fuel efficient'', atleast the way i do it is using the multi-info display once again and it can also show how much petrol your burning as you drive (step your foot on the accel) this way you can rev less and reduce your petrol use xDD

umm hope that helps sorry for slang or unhelpful help loll
