is it n/a??
coz i know my charged ek sohc idles weird, cold idles at 1500 warm around 500 then jumps to 1000 :S

maybe try adjusting your idle a tad but i think 800 is ok, use less fuel anyways haha :)

yes its N/A d series,
im not sure if im being paranoid and hadnt noticed, but i googled and many people state 750 - 800 is very normal,

this is when teh engine is warm too not on cold start up,
only noticed it just now when driving

isn't there a sticker under the hood stating how much to adjust idle/valve clearances etc?

800 ish is normal when warm. should be alittle over 1000 when dead cold.

850-900 is normal idle for most cars,

anything above 1k the car is still cold and still need warming up

wat if the car is already warm

the sticker under my hood states 750 +- 50rpm..
so 800 rpm-700 rpm is acceptable..
my AFC NEO reads 680-695 rpm sometimes and i get a little vibration at idle....i will get my idle valve cleaned first and see what happens.

IAC issues are common for ej/em civics, maybe same 4 EG. My old EJ used to idle at 800 perfectly, but after a while it started to wander from 1000-5000.

I guess u cant call it an issue, it never stalled or affected anything else. I think replacing the IAC should do it if its an issue. Correct me if I'm wrong...
