Funny noise.. help

Hey guys, just did an engine swap with a b18c into a civic.

everything works fine except noticed a whirring noise sound on idle coming from the engine.
But as soon as the clutch is held down the sound disappears and the engine is quiet and sounding normal.

Any idea , much appreciated

Did you change the clutch on the engine before putting it in?

I have a 'similar' problem where I get a whirring noise when I push the clutch pedal down to the floor, but it's fine on idle.
