Hello guys!! I'm just wondering if anyone is using 195/50-15 Potenza GIII with 15" Wheels such as Buddy Club Racing?? Has the performance in terms of grip and handle improved compared to the original 15" 185/55-15 tyres from VTi-S? Does it slow it down a bit (or does it increase fuel consumption?) cause it's wider (185 -> 195).
I don't have much idea about wheels but thinking to change them so want to get some expertise from you guys. Thank you!!

you get slightly more grip
if you run 15x7 rims you can get away with using even 205/50/15 tyres if u have enough clearnace

There is such a thing as too wide aint there? ive got 205/50/15 at the moment and i might go and try 195/55/15 next. Just casue they are stock and CTR have them so give it a go. hehe

do you really need to run wider tyres??

i think the car is underpowered enough and i don't wanna put more drag/weight to slow it down further. the OEM stuffs don't seems to lack grip for street use.

if it's just for looks only then make sure you get the lightest rims you can afford.

Thanks for your input, guys!! Actually, I am thinking to change the wheels to 15" and use the Potenza GIII tyres, however not that I want to use 195/50-15 but 195 is the lowest among all the 15" Potenza tyres. If they have 185, I would definately go for it because I agree with Philip Lee on the underpower issue.

i think clearance as tanghy mentioned in this case does not refer to up/down clearance...so it wont have anything to do with lowering the car.
stock 185/55r15...185*.55 = 101.75
205/50r15.....205*.50 = 102.5
qed pretty negligible height difference

wonder what the turning radius is with 205's...

bigger rims will damage the new tech on jazz steering is all i know...
but other than that... it wont damage anything man unless yr car is crap
lol just joking
i suggest you go and talk to some tyres shop like where u got the tyres from and if they say yr tyres are fine with yr jazz, go Honda and ask for warranty claim
if not, just report to some affair department and let them do the rest

also clearance issue, height also a problem if u will lower yr car which yr tyres will behind below yr fender as mine tyres are in the same level as my fender
