I managed to take out the socket from the housing, but im having trouble taking the bulb out of it. Do i just pull it out? i tried but its extremely tight. Is there a clip or something? i dont want to break anything..... please help!

this is in a honda prelude 99 btw.

There should be a spring loaded clip that you have to undo first before the bulb can be removed. Once the clip is undone, the bulb will be very loose and can be taken out with zero force.

Usually anything that seems abit too difficult to pull out there's surely a clip/screw that needs to be undone beforehand.

LOL! i made the exact same thread a couple of months ago abt the exact same problem. Its not that hard. there is no clip, hooks or anything. you seriously gotta YANK IT OUT!! need a bit of muscle there man. you wont break anything. dont twist or anything, just PULL it STRAIGHT out!

i also got a 99 prelude :)

i hope that helps!!! dont be afraid of using extra strength to pull it out, u wont break anything :)

edit:
well it was part of a thread i started abt changing the bulbs http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=112229
